Edgar's Mission is a non-profit animal sanctuary that houses anywhere from 350 to 450 animals that were previously farmed. Their sanctuary aims to create an authentic and unique learning environment, with empathy at the centre of our focus. Located on 153 acres of peaceful land in Lancefield, providing a safe and caring home for these animals.

Tours take participants on a thought provoking non- judgemental journey that touches on the key issues of social justice, animal cruelty, sustainability and human health. Looking at the complex web of connections that cause people to make the choices they do; individuals are encouraged to develop their own sets of values regarding how they should live.They believe that teaching the importance of kindness, caring, compassion, responsibility and respect for others not only has practical benefits for the ‘other’, it also goes a long way toward enabling us as decision makers to be thoughtful, empowered and fair individuals.
